Art and technique in making
tempered glass applications
We are leaders in the field of tempered glass processing
The SECURIT factory has been processing tempered glass for more than 20 years, and this figure implies a significant expertise in the field. Tempered glass has a series of properties worth mentioning: Firstly, tempered glass is resistant to powerful shocks. In the manufacturing process a electronically controlled heat treatment is used at optimal parameters. The float glass is heated to a temperature of about 680°C, the procedure followed by a sudden cooling, which generates a strong compression, to allow the tempered glass to gain resistance 3-4 times higher than normal glass from mechanical and thermal stress.
SECURIT International manufactures and mounts shop fronts made of tempered glass. Tempered glass windows can be mounted on aluminum profiles or metallic structures. Windows can be made out of tempered or laminated glass and can have a thickness between 10 and 30 mm. Tempered glass store fronts can be equipped with side hinged doors or sliding doors.
Glass partitions and walls
Tempered glass partitions and walls have an increasingly greater applicability for both offices and residential spaces. The tempered glass walls used for spiting offices allow the division and efficient use of space, while maintaining the natural light and providing at the same time privacy. In the residential space, tempered glass walls are important because they separate the cooking space from the dining area, separating the dressing room from the sleeping space and efficient space partitioning in various areas of interest.
Tempered glass doors represent a modern decorative and functional element for both office and retail space, as well as at home. Doors made out of tempered glass can be swing or sliding doors and can be decorated with a cutter plotter cropped sticker, printed sticker or sanding.
Tempered glass balustrades represent a modern solution which fill the need for both a decorative look and safety. Balustrades can be utilized for interiors and exteriors. Tempered glass used for balustrades can be sandblasted or colored depending on your preferences.
Colored glass cladding and countertops
Colored glass represents an efficient solution for any surface both in the commercial and residential area. Colored glass can be used for making countertops and cladding for kitchen and bathroom, to cover various objects (radiators, air conditioners) and for decorating commercial spaces.
